The star midfielder Played in an advanced position on the right and also contributed with defensive duties. Displayed moments of class and scuffed an attempt wide. Replaced in the closing stages by Rogers, a fellow player, following a yellow card. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's best chance of the first half, his shot excellently kept out from the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet out wide yet his deliveries from wide areas varied in quality. Taken off late in the match. 6

The captain The match-winner with his 77th and 78th goals at international level. His first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second a classy headed goal following a clever run off his defender. Aged 32, he’s only getting better with the national team are strong contenders in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Found it tough to make an impact from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance when set up by the midfielder yet the keeper made the save. Rashford made much more of an impact after coming on. 5/10
