Starting with the gradual reveal of fresh additions before the title's launch, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an constant stream of gossip to those who wants to hear. Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the feelers on its ears to tell how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol
