White House Condemns 'Democrat Hoax' as More Jeffrey Epstein Images Released
House Democrats have made public a additional set of what they labeled "alarming" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The opening batch of 19 images—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the approximately 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the conduct and connections of Epstein.
The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.
Notable Figures in the Photos
Included in the high-profile individuals shown in the first release are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.
White House Response
The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the pictures for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, asserting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats ever have by frequently urging transparency, making public reams of papers, and demanding further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."
Democratic Lawmaker Comment
The photographs were disclosed lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with wealthy individuals.
"The moment has come to halt this White House concealment and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a statement.
The publication of these images occurs alongside the House panel pressing on with its probe into the Epstein matter.
